How to Delete a Playlist
VIDIZMO allows you to delete playlists that are no longer needed. When a playlist is deleted, it is removed from the media library. To learn more about playlists, see Understanding Playlist.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you belong to a group with the Playlist feature enabled, or have a CAL that grants this permission.
Delete a Playlist
- Select Media Manager from the portal.
- Navigate to the playlist you want to delete.
- Select the overflow menu icon (three horizontal dots) on the playlist.
- Select Delete.
- In the confirmation dialog, select Delete to proceed.
If the playlist is used in other places, the confirmation dialog displays the affected items. Deleting the playlist makes it unavailable in those locations.
A notification displays stating the media is successfully submitted for deletion. The deletion process may take a while depending on the size of the content, as a workflow executes in the background to perform this task.
If all the content included in the playlist is deleted, the playlist is also deleted from the portal.
