Viewing Password Protected Media

VIDIZMO supports password-protected media where viewers must provide a password before accessing the content. The password can be shared with viewers separately via email or other means. The media only plays after the viewer enters the correct password. To learn how to set a password on media, see How to Password-Protect your Media Files.

Anonymous viewers can view password-protected media by entering the correct password, provided the viewing access in the Security Policy is set to allow anonymous viewers. Public/anonymous access is not available in the VIDIZMO Digital Evidence Management (DEMS) product.

View Password-Protected Media

1. From the portal homepage or media library, select the password-protected media.
2. On the playback page, enter the password in the Password field.
3. Select Proceed.

If the password is correct, the media plays. If the password is incorrect, an error message displays prompting you to re-enter the password.
