How to Share Media to Viewers via Email

VIDIZMO allows you to share media via email to other users. You can either use the built-in Refer option, which sends an automated email containing the media link, or share the link directly through your own email client. Social sharing to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter is also available.

NOTE: The share option is only visible on the playback page when Allow Social Sharing is enabled in Portal Settings and Allow Sharing is enabled on the media file's Publish tab. To learn more, see How to Configure Social Media Sharing in Portal.

Access the Share Option​

There are three ways to reach the share option:

From the Homepage​

  1. Select the overflow menu icon (three horizontal dots) on the media.
  2. Select Share.

From the Media Library​

  1. Select the overflow menu icon (three horizontal dots) on the media you want to share.
  2. Select Share.

From the Playback Page​

  1. Select the share icon on the playback page.

Refer Media via Email​

  1. In the share dialog, enter the recipient's email address in the Email Address field. To send to multiple recipients, enter comma-separated email addresses.
  2. Select Refer.

An automated email is sent to the specified recipients with a link to the media. Access to the media depends on the portal's privacy settings.

Share via Social Platforms​

In the share dialog, select one of the social sharing icons to share the media link:

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter
  • Email: Opens your default email client with the media title and link pre-filled.
