How to Manage My Library

My Library enables users to upload, playback, manage, sort, and filter their media in one place.

Prerequisites​

  • Belong to a group with Upload and manage my content permission enabled, or be part of the Contributor group.

Enable Private Content Policy​

Portal administrators must enable private media before users can manage private content.

  1. In VIDIZMO, go to Admin > PortalSettings.
  2. Select Library > Manage Private Content Policy.
  3. Enable Allow users to manage private Media.
  4. Select Update.

Configure Default Viewing Access​

Set your default access level for uploaded content.

  1. Select your Profile icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select the Manage Profile (gear icon).
  3. Select Edit Profile.
  4. From the Default Viewing Access dropdown, select either:
    • Private (Only Me) - Content visible only to you
    • Portal Security/Publish Settings - Content follows portal-level access rules
  5. Select Update.

Access My Library​

  1. Select your Profile icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select any option under My Library:
    • Uploads - Your uploaded media
    • Shared - Media shared with you
    • Favorites - Your favorited media
    • My Tracking - Media tracking events
    • Archived - Archived media
    • Expired Media - Expired content
    • Recycle Bin - Deleted content

NOTE: Available tabs depend on your group permissions.
