How to Setup Media Availability

VIDIZMO allows users to manage media availability for a specific duration. You can schedule media for future availability or set an expiration date after which the media is no longer accessible on the portal.

Set Availability During Upload​

  1. Select the Add New Media (+) icon.
  2. Select Upload Media.
  3. Drag and drop files or select Click here to Upload.
  4. After the upload begins, the Media Settings page opens.
  5. Select the Access tab.
  6. In the When will it be available section:
    • Available From - Select the start date and time
    • Expires After - Select the end date and time
  7. Select Save or Save and Close.

Set Availability for Existing Media​

  1. In VIDIZMO, go to Admin > Media Manager.
  2. Select Settings from the overflow menu of the media.
  3. Select the Access tab.
  4. In the When will it be available section:
    • Available From - Select the start date and time
    • Expires After - Select the end date and time
  5. Select Save or Save and Close.

View Expired Media​

When media reaches its expiration date, it automatically becomes unavailable and moves to the Expired tab in Media Manager.

  1. In VIDIZMO, go to Admin > Media Manager.
  2. Select the Expired tab.

NOTE: Expired media can be made available again by updating the expiration date in the Access tab settings.
