How to Setup Tracking App Using Woopra

VIDIZMO integrates with Woopra to help your organization optimize the customer life-cycle by delivering live, granular behavioral data for individual website visitors and customers. All user activity on media is calculated and displayed as events in the Media Analytics or Quality of Experience (QoE) reporting interface of VIDIZMO.

Prerequisites

  • The Apps.WoopraTracking permission is enabled for your group.
  • A Woopra account. For more information, see Getting Started with Woopra.

Steps

  1. In VIDIZMO, select the menu icon in the top-left corner to open the navigation pane.
  2. Expand the Admin section and select Settings.
  3. Go to Apps > Tracking.
  4. Select the settings icon on the Woopra app.
  5. In the dialog box, configure the following fields:
    • Domain — Enter the portal URL (e.g., https://yourportal.vidizmo.com).
    • Ping — Enable to send requests to Woopra tracking servers at regular intervals. This allows Woopra to determine page view duration and session length.
    • Ping Interval — Enter the interval value in milliseconds for ping requests (e.g., 12000 for every 12 seconds).
    • Idle Timeout — Enter the idle time in milliseconds after which the user is considered offline (e.g., 300000 for 5 minutes).
  6. Select Save Changes.
  7. Turn on the toggle for Woopra to enable tracking.

A notification confirms that the portal information is updated successfully.
