Configuring VIDIZMO Indexer for Translations
VIDIZMO Indexer translates content from your audio, video, document, and image files. It detects the source language and generates translations in your selected target language.
Prerequisites
To configure the VIDIZMO Indexer for translations, you must:

Belong to a group or have a CAL where App Management and the required features are enabled.

Have the appropriate translation permission for the content type:
- Translation for audio and video files
- Document Translation for document files
- Image Translation for image files
Access the VIDIZMO Indexer
- Select the menu icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select Admin.
- Select Portal Settings.

- In Portal Settings, select Apps.
- Select Content Processing to view available processing apps. Locate VIDIZMO Indexer.
- Select its settings button to open the configuration.

Configure VIDIZMO Indexer
- Choose the Media/Evidence formats you want to generate AI Insights for. Available insight options depend on the selected format(s).
- Add translation insights based on your selected format:
- Audio Translation: Translates transcripts from audio files and videos with spoken audio.
- Document Translation: Translates text detected in documents using OCR.
- Image Translation: Translates text detected in images using OCR.
- If the file format is audio or video:
- Translation language(s): Select the target language for the translation. English is the primary supported language and delivers the most accurate results. Other languages are available; however, translation quality and coverage may vary compared to English.
- If the file format is document or image:
- Document/Image translation: Select the target language for the translation. Document and image translation are currently available in a limited set of supported languages. For the complete list, refer to the documentation.
- Turn Automatic processing on or off to control whether VIDIZMO Indexer processes content automatically when it's uploaded.
- Select Save Changes to apply your configuration.
Note: Reset restores the default values.

- Make sure the VIDIZMO Indexer app is enabled to generate outputs based on your settings.
