VIDIZMO Offline Playback: Understanding and Step-by-Step Guide

In VIDIZMO, Offline Playback is a feature in video streaming that allows you to watch video content, listen to audio, and view images and documents without the need to be connected to the Internet. The content will be saved to your device when you download the content from your VIDIZMO online website portal.

You can access the content from Offline Downloads, and when you download content in your VIDIZMO desktop app, it gets downloaded within your app for you to watch whenever you want without an internet connection. When you play the content, it will not stream from the server but will play from your device. This will save your bandwidth, and the content will be played seamlessly without any buffering.

Concept

VIDIZMO Offline Playback with VIDIZMO Desktop Client provisions a more convenient way of browsing and enjoying content at the ease of one's own comfort and availability with no network dependencies. VIDIZMO allows users to centrally manage their downloads and helps them keep their content's meta-information synced at all times to be able to enjoy content without any concerns of outdatedness. This technique relies on the utilization of local storage space to physically save media content selected by the user on their desktops.

Selecting Media for Offline Playback

To download media for offline playback on the VIDIZMO Desktop App, follow these steps:

The status indicates that the content you chose to download offline is currently in progress and will be completed soon. A progress indicator appears next to the media file.

Note: Please be advised that the progress of offline downloads is directly influenced by both the user's selected file size for offline playback and their internet bandwidth.

2. In Queue

If you start downloading additional media while another file is already in progress, the status of the new media will be shown as In Queue icon until it's ready to be downloaded.

3. Completed

Once the media file has been downloaded successfully, its status will be marked as Completed with a checkmark icon, and it is now available for offline playback.
