How to View and Export Audit Log

The Audit Log keeps track of every activity in an Account or Portal. VIDIZMO allows users to view Audit logs. Audit logs have details of all activities, including users logged in and out, users added and deleted, content added and deleted, campaigns added and deleted, and user profile updates.

Follow the steps below to see how you can view and export Audit Log of any Portal.

Prerequisite

Before you begin, ensure that you are part of a group with the Audit Log feature permission enabled, or that you belong to the Audit Log group, where this permission is enabled by default.

Steps

  1. Select the menu icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen to bring up the left navigation pane.
  2. Go to Admin > Control Panel.
  3. Go to Security > Audit Log.
  4. To display the filters, select the filter icon.
  5. Enter IP Address.
  6. Select the Event from the Event List. The event determines the nature of the Audit Log. For instance, by selecting User Log Out, all times that user logged out of the Portal display.
  7. Select Start Date of the duration with respect to which you wish to filter logs.
  8. Select End Date of the duration with respect to which you wish to filter logs.
  9. Select Users.
  10. Select Apply to proceed.

Based on the filters selected, the Audit Log displays.

  1. Select Download to proceed.
  2. Select and save the Audit Log in the format you require (CSV or PDF) with the help of the dropdown.
