Custom Headers feature enhances the security of your portal by enabling users to easily add, modify, and delete headers based on their specific security needs. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you maximize the benefits of Custom Headers within VIDIZMO, allowing you to strengthen the security of your platform effectively.

Prerequisite

Before you begin, ensure that you are part of a group with the Custom Response Header Management feature permission enabled.

Accessing the Custom Headers Screen

  1. Select the navigation menu.
  2. Go to Admin > Control Panel.
  3. Go to Security > Custom Headers.

Understanding Pre-configured Headers

Users can access a list of pre-configured headers within the Custom Headers screen. To utilize these pre-configured headers, you can easily do so by inputting their designated key-value pairs from the provided list. The corresponding Actions for each pre-configured header are clearly defined.

The pre-configured headers provided in this system offer essential security measures and cannot be modified or removed, ensuring robust application security and data protection.

Adding Custom Headers

To add a custom header:

  1. Go to the Custom Headers screen. Enter the key and value for the custom header in the designated fields.
  2. Select Add to List to include the custom header.
  3. Select Update to add the custom header to the list.

Editing an Existing Custom Header

  2. Select the Delete button associated with that header to initiate its removal.
  3. Select Update to save the changes.
