How to Setup Portal for Anonymous Public Access
For ease of use, Portals in VIDIZMO can be set up to provide accessibility options which are then set up as its default access policy. These settings allow the Portal to be either publicly accessible to anonymous users or may have some access restrictions, such as the ability to add users manually or auto-approve join requests.

Prerequisite
Before you begin, verify that you are part of a group with the feature permission Security Settings enabled.
Steps
- Select the navigation menu on the top left of your screen.
- Go to Admin > Control Panel.
- Go to Security > Security Policy.
- Select the Public tab to view public access policies.
- Under Portal Access Type, you can see that the Allow Anonymous Access option is enabled. This option also sets up the Portal to auto-approve all join requests and allow participation from all authenticated users.
- Select Update to allow anonymous access to your Portal.
This sets your Portal as Public. Thus, all media files in the Portal are accessible to anonymous users. Moreover, new uploaded and published media is also accessible anonymously.
A notification displays stating: Portal details updated successfully.
