Uploading Content and Error Handling
When attempting to upload a file through the portal's user interface or via the API, the system performs an automatic check on the file's extension against the restricted extension list.
If the file's extension is found to be in the restricted list, an error message displays, indicating that the extension is restricted. The user is prompted to choose an alternative file that does not have a restricted extension.
Configuring restricted file extensions empowers you to selectively prohibit certain file types from being uploaded to your portal, enhancing content security, preventing the spread of malware, and maintaining compliance with content policies.
