How to Assign CALs in VIDIZMO Portal
Every user in the VIDIZMO portal holds a Client Access License (CAL). The CAL determines which features the user can access, as each CAL carries a different set of feature permissions.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you belong to a group with User Management feature permission enabled.
Assign or Change CALs for Other Users
When users are added or invited to the portal, they receive either the CAL assigned during invitation or the default CAL configured in the portal.
- Navigate to the user's Manage Profile screen. See How To Edit User Details.
- In the Assigned CALs field, open the dropdown menu.
- Select the CAL to assign to the user.
- Select Update.
A notification confirms the user information has been updated.
