Reset Passwords for Other Users
Reset passwords for users who have forgotten their credentials or need to update their password. Once initiated, an email containing a password reset link is sent to the selected user(s).
NOTE: This applies only to VIDIZMO logins created through manual registration. For Single Sign-On (SSO) or third-party login accounts, contact your IT Administrator.
Prerequisites
- Assigned to the User Manager group or User Management permissions enabled.
Send a Password Reset Email

Select the hamburger menu (☰), then go to Admin > Users & Groups.

Locate the user whose password you want to reset.

Do one of the following:
- To reset a single user's password: Select the overflow menu (three dots) next to the user, then select Reset Password.
- To reset multiple users' passwords: Select the checkboxes next to the users, select Action, then select Reset Password.

In the confirmation dialog, select Reset Password.
The password reset email is sent to the selected user(s).
Complete the Password Reset (End User)
Users who receive the password reset email must complete these steps:
- Open the password reset email and select the provided link.
- On the Reset Password page, enter your new password.
- Re-enter the new password to confirm.
- Select Update.
After updating, a confirmation page appears. Select the link to return to the login page and sign in with your new password.
